One of my web sites screwed up the instructions at the bottom of the page (not me, ha, - or I accidentally added "a code" that skipped text?). About a third of the text was gone for half a day. I fixed the text 3 times before I changed the numbering and it showed the text the way I wanted it. I was upset.
Computers can be very frustrating sometimes.
If you share a computer network in an office things could be not working to print out web pages or images the same as at a home office.
I figured out how to do print outs by trial and error.
Have you tried my instructions at the bottom of the web page? -- one such printable page is http://members.xoom.com/inreality/index2.html
Does the "print function" of your "Internet Window menu" work? Note that office printers sometime cannot print pictures easy; mine did not a few years ago. Maybe something is disabled or not configured.
If you care to try printing again, here goes:
(or at an organization you could see if your system's computer guru can help. They could print out any old image from a regular web site such as www.washtimes or yahoo).
To partially test if your printer "printing configuration" is working do as follows.
I suggest you skip step 0 the first time. (this section repaired 1/17(sorry))
0. Go to just seeing my main black and white image (without the rest of the page text) by clicking on the image with your mouse (Left Button on mouse).
1. At any web site, use the menu at the "top of the window".
2. select the "file" menu
3. select "print" (the internet page)
That was the basic print function. If internet pages are not set up
to be printed, maybe check with a computer guru.
On A PC (with Microsoft Windows) to save a picture file on a diskette do the following (for privacy you can take a diskette home):
A. Put your mouse cursor over the image.
B. HOLD DOWN the RIGHT (not left) mouse button.
C. Go down the pop-up menu to "Save Image/Picture as ..."
D. Click "Save Image/Picture as ..."
E. Select the diskette or computer folder of where you want to save the file.
This assumes you have a Personal Computer (With Microsoft Windows).
If you have Microsoft Office you may be able to open this saved image file
and print it. Newer software for images (painting, photowork) would normally
be able to open this file. I use one of these to print my images.
Note at the bottom of the home web page the blue/violet "link" goes to a better
page to print just the instructions because it has smaller pictures. But
you need to be able to know how to print to print it! AHHHG! so......
!- TO PRINT TEXT THE "OLD FASHIONED" WAY -!
YOU CAN ALWAYS TAKE YOUR MOUSE CURSOR,
HOLD THE BUTTON DOWN,
AND DRAG,
TO HIGHLIGHT ALMOST ANY (NON PHOTO IMAGE) TEXT.
THEN YOU CAN CUT AND PASTE IT INTO YOUR FAVORITE WORD PROCESSING PROGRAM'S
BLANK PAGE, SUCH AS MICROSOFT WORD, OR NOTEPAD.
